999 error codes what to do NOW FIXED

Hi
My 999 let me down at the weekend. It just died and the ole eobd came on. Finally got it restarted. it reallt hurt the battery so an Optimate was called in to service.
Popped out earlier and made the mistake of stalling at the bottom of the hill half a mile from home.
Pushed it back up the hill (puff puff) and have found these error codes.
So what do I do to make the problems go away?
12.2 Inj1 shorted to earth
13.2 Inj2 shorted to earth
Thanks
PS Did search the site for these codes first

PPS When the bike was ticking over only one of the pipes was pumping out visible exhaust gas's, but think it's always done that

Think it might be fuel pump/relay related.
When turning on the ignition you cant here the initial whir of the pump.
Just hear a couple of clicks, I have the fairing off but cant really pinpoint where these initial clicks are coming from.

Cant also disable the engine block light using the throttle tecnique in the manual?

Take a look at this previous thread and see if it can offer any help.

Thanks
I missed that thread.
I thought the relay was under the battery cover on the left?
Cheers

I now have these error codes instead
10.2 Hor. Coil shorted to earth
11.2 Ver. Coil shorted to earth

When are you next in colchester Mitch so you can collect and fix it for me.
I guess you may even be able to fix it on the spot.

C'mon where are all the clever peeps out there when you need them

I had the vertical coil shorting to earth warning on mine about a month ago. It cut out completely. About 20 minutes flapping around with wires then push back home. I was only about 500 yards but the last 100 are up a steep hill. Got to the bottom of the hill and it started first time, rode it home........

Anyway, I removed seat/tank and took out coil, shone a torch in looking for water, moisture etc and it was bone dry (I had washed it the previous night), whacked a load of grease round the seal and popped the coil back in. Its never done it again.

Your original codes showed on my bike after I'd washed it. It was the fuel pump relay that had rusted up inside.Apparently they're quite cheap and located behind the battery. Does this help?
Chris
