Clutch push rod

Anyone knowing the length of the above on a 1999 moster 600? Since I have put the dd bike back together I just cannot disengage the clutch fully. It's rock hard half way through the lever travel.

Missed already 3 sessions a at brands today, hopefully the change of coil should see me out on track once before lunchtime...

Cheers

Tonio

I can check when I get home
Have you replaced the O-rings on the push-rod as they harden and can restrict the travel as they refuse to move through the hole in the casing

Are the clutch basket groves and clutch plate teeth worn I had mine sticking and failing to disengage because of that. 4D

I forgot to mention that this is after I replaced my standard clutch MC (the one with square reservoir attached) with a gold one with remote reservoir.

So the problem might well come from the MC I found on eBay, will first swap them back and let you know.

Doubt if its the difference in M/Cyls
Which Slave cylinder have you got, Should be the early type and they use a M/Cyl with a 13mm Diameter Piston which is the same as 916s etc later 748/996/998s went to the Slave with the Star shape bit on the end of it and they had a 12mm Diameter M/cyl

305mm for the rod in my 1999 M600 Engine (early type Slave cyl)
313mm for the rod in my 2003 M620 Engine (later type Slave cyl)

Cheers Kev :)

Will check mine asap. It doesn't seem to be a problem with the MC or the SC as I have swapped tried several of them already.
