208RRs - anyone tried \'em? Anyone tried these yet? Thoughts, feedback? Ta Tim:ninja: |
are they the road version of the gp? |

Nope, they are the 208 version of the 207RR !!!! I think the R6 cup boys used them last year. Tim:ninja: |
hmmm not certain then. a mate had on some 208 tyres last year that had a more 'road' friendly tread pattern compared to 208gp and he didn't rate them much compared to bridgestones but he was on an R1 |
yes Tim they are what the R6 cup guys were using last year so please take note they did 2 warm up laps before forming up on the start grid. other than that I haven't tried them but if they have improved on the D207RR then they have to be a good tyre. |
Yeh but, no but, yeh but - they're mad buggas!!! They had to do 2 warm up laps before they went banzai into the first corner. We're much more civilised than that and when we get to the first bend at Cadwell, it'll be a case of "after you", "no after you", "no I insist, after you" ,................................................. .....yeh right!!!! ;) |
he he. can't wait to watch the first bend of the first race of the first Desmo Due series is that 'orrible hairpin on the Woodland circuit! I'll be there camcorder in hand:devil: |

I wouldn't get too close though, you might get hit by shrapnel!! ;) |
I thought the R6 guys used 208GPs? |
Tim since you do just track stuff, I can thoroughly recommend the 280GP's I can only compare them to the 207rr but they're so much better it should be illegal! Don't last too long tho, My rear has done about 1700 miles and it's bolloxed. |
