Leaking reservoirs?

I noticed today a little fluid around the clutch and front brake reservoirs. It is where the covers meet the reservoirs. It looked like condensation but tastes like brake fluid. (I've not ridden the bike for about 2 weeks and its in the garage).

Is this normal?

Cheers,

Wes

Yeah they all do it.
The fluid has got under the paint and bubbled up on my reservoir covers.I usually whip 'em off, clean 'em up and give them a coat of paint once a year.
The alternative is to buy some of those funky anodised covers often found on Ebay.

They still corrode, just not as quickly!

Best thing is to replace them with the Brembo plastic covers, or to replace the whole reservoir with the smaller one (like the clutch side) with a plastic cover.
