749 999 exhausts Have you kept your std exhaust or what have you changed to? In particular what size are the out holes on your system, do they fill the holes in the rear shroud? |
I have a 57mm full system on my 999s , the outlets on the end can fill the corresponding slots on the carbon heat shield , check Triple nines sig.pic for how they look  |
Mines got the asymetrical kit on it.The outlets fill the holes in the carbon heat sheild. The "race can" supplied with the 999R has smaller outlets for some reason. [Edited on 9-2-2004 by keefyboy] |
spotted at boxhill on sunday a 999 with the original exhaust box removed completely and in its place a set of stainless steel/titanium 998 style twin pipes !! no pics i'm afraid but it did look a bit bizzare |
Andy, Sorry........only just replied to your U2U on this subject. |
well i spoke with Ducati uk.... and the reason the R "race" system has small outlets is because of homologation! mmm? So my options are 57mm system..er £2500, or modify my race outlets.. watch this space. Incidentally whats the best people have paid? |
This is what im aiming for.. |

Bummer! I guess the can that is supplied is designed to work with the standard CPU and the cat in the front pipe?? |
No you get a can with no cat, a new front pipe with no cat, and a new CPU so alls not lost.. |
