Changing fuel filter What is the percieved wisdom for removing the fuel filter from the tank........filler cap removed and grub screws slackened off, what is the best way to remove the fuel filler plate without damaging the tank....it seems v.tight |
Make sure all grub screws are backed right out, it's quite a deep groove they go into, after that it's probably a dried out grease holding the plate in requiring a bit of force to remove it. Ones with Fresh grease and a fresh O-ring pop out quite easily |
Thanks for that I'll have an extra shredded wheat and give it a go |
