After reading the long thread on the 749R, I started wondering if ducati has done any fixes on the 05 model? I am currently looking at a '05, but hesistant to pull the trigger after seeing the thread.

fixes to what?

the fuel cut-off problems....

The one on the thread seems to be an isolated problem there seems to be plenty out there without a problem:)

now I am very itched for one...... but owning both the s4r and this seems to be a bit much.... perhaps will sell the s4r...

the 04 749r is meant to be a bit better speced than the 05 so i was told.

04 749r has carbon bodywork.

Typer, go for the 04 you will get a lot more for your money. JHP still has one.
