If its the tricolere Marzocchi fork model, budget for changing the 16" wheels for new 17".No decent tyres available for the 16 inchers.
Electrics are pretty weak,so think about changing the fuel filter as well.Summat dumb like a blocked filter can overload the electrics,(yes really!) and starve the battery of charge.

Thanks KeefyB , Been to see it this morning and it does have the marzocchi forks but has 17" wheels fitted . Price seems ok and the milage is low plus has all its Mot certificates and some history .

Plus i can remember when they first came out and i lusted after one then :D

Welcome into the fold. As for the Chips, if there's nowt wrong with the way the bike runs, leave it be. If it has got standard cans and a full airbox lid the original chip 'll do.

Rgds, Rob

it has carbon end cans , not sure if the airbox has been modded yet need to pop the tank and see . my biggest worry at the moment is the belts as the only bill i have showing a belt change was 5000 miles a go in 1999 :o I,m going to change them this weekend for peace of mind .
