Rear jack up kits FS

Rich at Louigi Moto has just had a new batch of jack up kits machined for our bikes. Look great ! They screw in to the existing rose joints and raise the rear ride height, making your bike turn much quicker/sweeter :D

Anyway, Rich has agreed to do them at £20 a set - just quote my name when you ring him on 07775557797 to get the deal..

Cheers
Nat

Bit of an old post but just ordered a set from him.

Nice man. Spent ten minutes of his time giving me tips on changing the T8s belts too. Very helpful...

Once I've fitted them any recommendations as to what height I should set the forks at?

I've currently got 20mm (I think..) showing past the top yoke. I imagine with the extra height at the rear it'll get a bit "flighty" left like that...?

Jeez, 20mm fork drop AND jack up bolts?? You won't need to even touch the bars to get it to turn, just use 'The Force!'

I'd bring the forks back to either level or 5mm. Mine are level and it's just right, shakes its head a little but not an uncomfortable amount.

Too true, I should think you'd find 20mm drop and jack up bolts a bit skittery.

From memory, I think that Sparkin's 888 had jack up bolts and about 10mm drop when I rode it - just about right for me, so I'll set my T8 up like that over the winter. But then, I do like a quick turning bike and I've got the rear ride height on my ST set up high - At the most extreme setting I had it on the centre stand wouldn't even hold the bike stable, but that was overkill
