999: 120/70 Vs 120/60 Anybody have experience of the 60 profile. I THINK I would prefer the 60 profile for a smoother tip-in |
120/70 is better. 120/60 is gradually being used less. 120/70 is the common size for racing because it has better turn in characteristics and there is a wider range of good rubber for that size. [Edited on 29-4-2006 by twpd] |
the 70 is the better IMO it gives you a better feel in the corner. when I was cranked over on the 60 you could feel resistance from the side wall not wanting to allow the bike to go over any further. it feel like you cant get to the limits of the 70 and it certainly was no slower to turn in |
70 is the best. 60 feels like it`s tucking in. |
ARGH SOD IT! Messed up my head with tyre sizes :S [Edited on 9-5-2006 by tranquil_rage] [Edited on 9-5-2006 by tranquil_rage] [Edited on 9-5-2006 by tranquil_rage] |
