White wheels Just got the T8 back from the sprayshop:DI`ve had it painted in `94 corse livery and can`t decide whether to do the wheels white or not.The factory bikes were white, what do you reckon chaps:puzzled: |
Looking good mate, that is a superb bike. However, I'd say sod the factory bike look...white wheels? what a mare to keep clean. My favourite wheels are satin or gloss black. Been thinking about doing that to the old ST over winter, but I don't want to spend too much more tarting up the old bus, it is after all only an ST. Silk purses and sow's ears spring to mind. |
Nah - go for white wheels - you want it to look "proper". She looks a beauty!!! |
This is where I got the colour scheme and ideas from(loosely) but I`m not a big Foggy fan. Thanks Jools, are you out tomorrow with KB? [Edited on 18-9-2004 by sparkin] |
I reckon they would give it that final touch but you've got to be happy with cleaning the buggers! Cleaning white wheels - not for me! |
I'm no expert but I feel that if you are prepared to make the effort that it takes to keep white wheels clean then it will make the bike far better looking |
Nightmare to keep clean, but if that's the look you were after, then stick with it.I'd personally go for black, especially as Corsers wheels were black in '93 and Polens black in '92. |
looking good mate. Having had the white flavour, and the black. Has to be black, it just gives the bike that little bit more aggresive stance. But just my thoughts. Nice though, all you need now is a nice corsa nest of vips & pipes.;););) cheers robin |
Here you go Sparkin - a quick lash-up. Quite like the look of those early Marvic wheels you were talking about a while ago. You give up on those? They still for sale? How much/where from? Cheers Steve |
