Another Newbie Question Sorry guys, me again!! Just a quick question. I have noticed that, when on a paddock stand, the rear wheel of my bike doesn't seem to spin very freely. It turns, but no-where near as freely as my old bike. Is ths correct? Mark |
It's because you probably have a fixed spindle on your paddock stand and not a bearing mounted one that will rotate with your wheel. |
Mr Nick. If it is fixed spindle, watch out when cleaning chain etc, rotating wheel. They are prone to moving off the spindle:o Very expensive if it does. Jon |
If it is a non-fixed spindle it may be a tad stiff, that why it may not spin a freely. You could try lubing the trackstand bearings..... |
