Another Newbie Question

Sorry guys, me again!!

Just a quick question.

I have noticed that, when on a paddock stand, the rear wheel of my bike doesn't seem to spin very freely. It turns, but no-where near as freely as my old bike.

Is ths correct?

Mark

It's because you probably have a fixed spindle on your paddock stand and not a bearing mounted one that will rotate with your wheel.

Mr Nick. If it is fixed spindle, watch out when cleaning chain etc, rotating wheel.
They are prone to moving off the spindle:o

Very expensive if it does.

If it is a non-fixed spindle it may be a tad stiff, that why it may not spin a freely. You could try lubing the trackstand bearings.....
