mirror extenders firstly, thumbs up to Ducati for producing after market parts cheaper than non OEM suppliers!! I assume they REPLACE the existing small block, not in addition to them? |

My mate Kiran got some for his 1098S. They're the same plastic blocks that come with the 1198 that just move the mirrors out further. You can use the same blocks on the 1098 - the mirrors are the same. The mirror bolts into the block and then you bolt the block onto the bike. If you take a look at a 1198 parts manual, it will show you. |

As Antonye says Paul, will give you the screws tomorrow night :D |
Thanks, I have the 1198 ones but taking off yhe old wanted to make sure they replace original and not somehow bolt to the small block..sounds like I thought and you remove the mirror from the block and put the new block on Roy, am on a train heading to alton so if there in time will probably pop into the shop, I know you don't work tues but sure I can sort it out. Went into garage to wrap some bits last night for 10 mins and ended up taking the mirrors off, getting the polish out and cleaning the bike for 2 hrs! Nice to have a duke in the garage again :D |
