Bike to Bike Radio recommendations please... Input please! looking for good kit probably using radio rather than bluetooth unless anyone has good experience with it! Ease of use a must - lol. For a two week Euro trip, using on bike power supply if possible to reduce faffing around charging batteries... Thanks in advance - Frank |
20 years ago I modified some Maxon radios for me and a couple of mates when we went touring. They were good quality kit but didn't do anything for bikes at the time hence having to modify them. Pretty sure they now do Bike/Helmet kits |
Cheers - Kev (Sorry the bike show was such a disappointment to come home to!) Three recommendations so far: Scala: http://www.cardosystems.com/scala-rider Intaride: http://www.intaride.com/ Mitex: http://mitex.co.uk/handheld-two-way-radios-c-11.html |
Have you considered Autocom, they consistently had the highest ratings of all B2B and B2P intercoms in the past. Cheers Simon |
If you want to do it on the cheap, Maplins sell both PMR radios and in-helmet headset kits. I have no idea what the quality of these are like though! |
Thanks Gents! |
