Broken Spider Spring on my Slipper Clutch!

1 Attachment(s)
That will explain the extra rattly-ness of my slipper clutch then!

It's from an STM Evo 48T, but I've read that the DP spring (79910661C) will also fit.

Does anyone have experience of these or can they recommend a better and/or cheaper part?

Thanks!

I used to get mine from jhp and other ducati dealers. Last time it was about £80. Albeit the larger RS type spring. Nowadays i get them from italian ebay. Seller. esp-racing-43. About £30 is a big difference and the metal is slightly thicker and i now need less new springs.
Not sure if they do for yours bur have a look

They do seem to be silly money!

Maybe worth having a word with Andy Pike, he's just fitted a STM clutch to his 1000SS, not sure where he got his spring from but he was telling me they did them in different strengths to suit how you wanted the clutch to slip
