Hi new to the world of ducati, but not bikes, i have had a bike since i was a lad at the moment i have a supermoto but am looking to get backinto sports bikes. been looking at 900ss and a couple of st2s but not purchased yet any advise gladly received

Hi, Welcome to the club :D What's your budget, both to buy and run? What sort of riding do you do? Are you handy with tools (not because they're always breaking down, just to help reduce service costs!) and lastly never, never, ever buy a yellow Ducati;)

Bit quiet on here at the moment, but will pickup as the weather improves as will the regional meets

Got a mate who is going to be selling his 900SS in the very near future, He tells me he wants £1500, can get more details if your interested like me he's in Oxford

, Mick. Both the SS and the ST2 are great bikes and if you choose either, you'll have a heap of fun, so good luck with the search.
By the way, what Swannymere meant to say was, "Unless you like being the one attracting all the admiring glances, don't buy a yellow Ducati.":)

I hate to say this as a 900ss owner but if you stretch your budget a little I think a 1000DS might be a better buy.
