SPS new clutch req

Why is it when you take your bike in to a "Ducati Store" for a service they never have the basic parts like a new clutch for a 996SPS! We can order one for you but we don't know when we can fit it say around December! That will be £150 +vat for the plates and £150 +vat for the basket (plus fitting charged at a zillion £'s and hour)

How much is a new clutch inc basket for a 996SPS?

Or

Where is the best place to buy a slipper clutch?

If you buy one - I\'ll fit it for free!!!!!!

have become pretty adept at fitting these now - 30 mins - no worries!

Beware if you get STM, then you will need the special tool for removing the clutch.

Fully recomend Bucci from JHP, I'm saving my pennies.:( £570 + vat plus plates if like me you have STM clutch. Otherwise you can use std plates.

Duke clutches are a doddle, god I've had to strip and rebuild a slipper at the side of the road on more than one occasion.

As KJ has said it would take you 30 mins at best, probably an hour on your first go to swap plates yourself, you just need a few allen keys, and my personal favourite a length of wire coat hanger, to pull the plates from the depths of the baskets as you won't be able to get your fingers in...
