Pirelli Supercorsa Pro Street

Anyone tried these??

Looking for a tyre I can ride to & from trackdays but with less tread & lighter than diablo corsa's

like the look of Racetecs but I think they'd wear too quickly - even K2 comp??

Thanks

Are these tyres available yet? If so, anybody tried 'em? Do they have the same tread pattern as the supercorsa pro sc's or the diablo corsa's.

These tyres are not bloody available anywhere yet!!!!!!! - which is really annoying as they looked really good in the MCN review

I went for diablo corsa's instead - okay at brands this week but not as good as the rennsport streets I had last year IMO - feel not as good

FWR don't have any & don't have a delivey date so could be ages

I've ran diablo corsas and am currentley running racetec k2's !,and for me personally, they're the most confidence inspiring tyre,i've ever ridden on,if ure doin trackdays & road riding, racetecs are the boys,no question, but they're not cheap, and i'm not sure about wear either,i've done 2 trackdays,on these,& about 200 miles on the road,& i'm doing Donnington on tuesday,so i'll see what they're like then !
buy sum, whilst the pirellis cum through, you may like them !

Simon

If I had a trailer I'd have gone for racetecs they looked superb but was advised by FWR they won't last on the road or reach their operating temp so I played safe...............

I've found someone that's listing the Pro Streets on their website. I've emailed them to confirm availability. Fingers crossed.

Got a pair of the Supercorsa's (not pro) and have got a trackday (DSC @Snetterton) and about 1500 miles out of them, need some more very soon.....

Supreme grip, so the pro's must be very good - I think seastar supernikes had some last week when I enquired??

Good luck, let us all know if you get some

Got the Pro Streets fitted (749s) just in time for the Brands GP trackday on Monday just gone. Scrubbed them in the day before. They seem to warm up quickly enough for road use (in the dry anyway!) & offered good grip, etc.

On the track though, they are superb. Nice turn-in + they feel unbelievably stable on full lean. Only problem now - ground clearance! The side stand touched down :o

It was raining for some of the journey home from Brands. Although the lack of tread doesn't exactly inspire confidence, they were ok for my very gentle ride home.

i think the side stand thing is more likely to be about suspension than then tyre
