Continental or Avon Tyres

Hello everyone. Let me introduce myself and this is my first post over here...and yes, I'm an american. Hope that's OK. You guys call us Yankees right? Among other things:D

Anyways, I have included a picture of my girls as well. The SS is the wifes bike and it's gonna need tires before long. I am looking at either the Avon Azaro ST 45/46 or the new Road Attack that Continental has out. Not alot of info on these in the states so though I would check and see if they are popular here?? Found one feedback on the Road Attacks that was very positive but looking for more. Both are very good looking tires, espicially when compared to the Pilot Road. Wanted a tire like this for her bike since the mileage benefit would be a plus and realistically, she just doesn't push the bike hard at all. Kinda leaning towards getting that one and depending on how they work out, I may try the new Conti Sport Attack on the 749 when the time comes. It actually has a neat 50.8 deg lean angle versus the Pilot Power 50.6 angle. Anyways, thanks for the input.

If you guys need a contact for any US info, I'd like to help out with that.

Welcome to our UK Board Galaxy;) We have a few of you "Yanks" posting here. In fact our technical genius, Shazaam is from you neck of the woods.

It looks like someone won the lottery:D Nice bikes.

Reference the tyres: For road use I'm a Bridgestone fan personally. The BT014 is an excellent tyre for my 916 as I do tend to give it a bit of stick:devil: That would be the tyre for the 749. It has very good grip, super handling and you can get good milage out of it. Frends of mine who have st4's and SS's swear by the BT020 which is more of a sports tourer tyre. One buddy recons he has done over 12000Km (we're metric here) with his.

I'm sure if you read some of the old posts in this section you will get a good idea as to what most of the members like and dislike over here.
