996 Biposto Prices? With the impending arrival of my new Panigale, i need to sell my 996 Bip. Does anyone have an idea what a realistic price is to ask for these? I have seen them advertised from about 3.5k right up to 5.5k or more, so i'm really unsure what they fetch. Mines in pretty good condition, with Ohlins shock and Sil Motor full system. Cheers Simon |
Always two schools of thought: 1. price it at what you want for it and let it go 2. price it high and then reduce as required I'm not sure which one is the best tactic though! I would look at the prices on places like AutoTrader and ebay to see what others are pricing theirs at, and find where yours fits in to that range. Don't forget to put an advert on here with pictures and a price and we can put it on our facebook and twitter feeds! |

Cheers Yep i'll be putting it on with some pics at the weekend. |
I had the same debate when I sold mine. Advertised it at what I thought was a reasonable price but there was no interest. I guess the point is, people can advertise at whatever price they want, but it needs someone who actually wants to buy.. In the end, I reduced mine just to get rid of it as I wanted the space. From what I've seen, the market for the older bikes has pretty much bottomed out - there's very few decent ones around... |

Do you mind if i ask what you got for yours? I want to be realistic when i advertise it and whilst there are plenty of adverts with prices to look at, there are no actual sale prices to look at (aside from eBay). Cheers Simon |
