http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...3569 316&rd=1 ,no silencer hangers though, nor eprom.
looks well used aswell, but is a genuine item though.

Hi

Don't know about the downpipes but the silencers are definitely not Termi's

paynep 11-Nov-2004 14:03

I'm after the manifold to go on my racebike but the Germans seem to be going a bit bid happy already!

And I'm in Mexico when the auction ends so hopefully there will be El Cafo Interneto when I get there.............

Nattyboy 11-Nov-2004 22:20

Those silencers ccould actually be early corsa termis...??!! Seem like it to mee..

The Americans rekon it's a pretty S/h GiaCaMoto and the cans need a total rebuild according to the seller.

bolds 11-Nov-2004 23:12

Yes im still not convinced i have never seen any termis with those type of caps at the front of the carbon tubes (which have a different weave to termi as well)

sparkin 11-Nov-2004 23:38

No expert, but could they be Bos? But saying that, the ends do look early 851 corsa Nat...........:puzzled:

I suspect that it is an early 851 system.
look at the pic of the spagetti manifold, I've only seen one other that did not have a joint in the front down pipe midway along the pipe section, held together with springs.
mine has seven springs holding all the removable joints together, allthough it's a later 851/888 corsa system.
allso, I cant see any way of attaching headers to cylinder heads, even the race bikes I looked at have the three bolt fixing from cylinder head to header pipes, or I am incorrrect.

I have been told that you can tell what year the system was built for by the lenght of the silencer tubes.
early bikes had shorter section pipes than later bikes.
distance from where the silencer pipe leaves the silencer bottom end, down to the joint on spagetti system.

The 1992 and 1993 systems are completely different from the systems used on the 1993 works bikes and 1994 customer Corsa's. The length of the pipe on the muffler from the inlet to the start of the can is 12" on the 1992 system and is 15 1/4" on the 1993/94 system.

or I could be wrong.

The head flange adapters are missing. Ally plates that bolt to the head and have two floatling tubes that, I assume, can be ground to meet the exact port shape. The header tubes are slipped over the ally flanges and held in place with two springs. I have the same header set up on my 888, but the cans are different.

Yep rob, i thought as much.
I have a single adapter in my heap of bits, but does'nt look quite right somehow, maybee due to the poor pics on ebay, can't see the spring hook eyes on the down pipes.
might go for it myself for a spare part.

cheers
