How do you post pictures on here it keeps asking for a url no, whats one of them, any help out there chaps,will put up my sp4 pics then cheers dave.

You can attach them by 'going advanced' on the reply normally and attach up to 5.

The url ones are where you are just linking to a webpage...

You got photo shop or a photo package? Should be easy then....

In fact just open the photo and see what it opens with...

If not pm me and you can email them to me and I will post them for ya

As for sending images here - one way is to use the image resizer and follow the requirements here:

(Seems the max size is currently 146.5Kb and 800 x 600 pixels)

A better way is to sign up for a website where you can store images and link to them in a post.

One provider is imageshack:

http://imageshack.us/

another I like is Esnips:

http://www.esnips.com/signin/index.jsp

Both of these have variation of image resizer within but, sending a smaller file to them in the first place is faster.

Once you know the link URL of your image just enclose it in the code within the square brackets as shown below:

[img]http://www.esnips.com/image.jpg(etc) [/img]

If you are using windows XP it has a resize option on the right mouse button.
You might need to download power tools from Microsoft first (free).

Its pretty useful. Can't remember who it was but I found out about it from someone in the DSC.
