i just got myself a 750ss '93 im 21 years old have 5 years no claims iv riden bikes all my life my last bike was a honda CBX750 i have no convictions.

yet iv rung around several insurance companys including ducati insurance and no one wants to insure me iv got to be 23 or over 25 is the answer i keep getting. i only want to insure it for pleasue use,

21 years old race a ducati 600ss and i cant get insurance for a road going ducati i feel sick

asked if they insure me on a R1 no problem whats going on

tryed them mike iv got to be 25 to get any insurance with them (they told me this morning)

yeh i know ill mite ring them back up and say that. just my friend was going to let me have his 750ss cheep but theres no point if i can ride it.

carol nash are saying over £600 fire and theft and that seems a lot

spoken to some one a bit higher up at ducati insurance fully comp £1000 and £250 excess on a 750ss aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr looks like i wont be buying that ducati

its just my age they say no likes insuring 21 year old even through id got 5 years no claims

Give insuremyducati a call on 0845 257 1355 - I've shown the thread to the underwriters there and they should be able to help you out.

Why on earth would you want fully comp on a bike that old. How much is the bike worth? Can't be much more than the cost of the policy and one claim.
