I am running the battlax BT56, i live not too far from Cadwell so roads are nice twistys, i have just had the bike set up properly and find it alot easier to ride than i did, so i suppose it is for fast blasts, but do occasionaly got on long runs on it so i am a bit confused!!??

Cheers

Diablo for fast road, Diablo Corsa for track day & fast road:D

or, if you get on well with the Bridgestones go 012SS's .. they will do everything .... in the wet and dry .......

BT014's get my vote. Good medium/hard compound in the middle with a soft/medium compound on the outer edge of the tyre. Will do everything you should need for road and trackday use.

If you're changing the tyre type/make/tread you should really change both tyres to prevent adverse effects to the handling.

I'm with 748IOM. I've tried most road tyres and they are the best for me too. And don't forget to go to a 180 rear.

I don't think having two different makes of tyre make that much difference. I've often raced with a Michelin front and a bridgestone rear or vice verse

Thanks guys given me food for thought, will let you know how i get on
