851/888 Stuff for sale

Im having a sort out now at last, and have the following items for sale. All are brand new still in the (mostly cagiva!) packet genuine parts, and most are not available anymore !

To save all the hassle of resizing, let me know your e-mail if you need any pics. More stuff to follow I expect..(Bracketed prices were list prices when new)

EARLY 851 FRONT MUDGUARD IN RED - £30 (£75)
888 TOOL KIT AND CASE (RARE CAGIVA PRINTED LOGOS) - £25 (£40)
ALLOY SP (EARLY SHAPE) TANK ** - £275 (£900)
851 BUMPAD FOR SINGLE SEAT - £20 (£76)
888 V PEICE IN RED (RARE EDITION WITH EXTRA VENTS) - £69 (£114)
ASSORTED (LATEST SHAPE) 851/888 REAR SIDE PANELS - £50 EACH (£220)
FAIRING AIR CONVEYORS (BITS INSIDE) IN RED - £19 (£54)
REV COUNTER - £49 (£170)
STRADA SEAT LOCK COVER - £7 (£21)
WATER PUMP COVER - £25 (£50)
CARBON FUEL CAP KIT - £40 (£98)

** Its a brand new boxed tank, but it has a minor dent in it that was done at the factory or in transit because it was a sealed box (no cracks to paintwork and im sure it can be sorted easily). I cant even get it to come out in a photo !!

?

Do you know if the v piece will fit the early 851 fairing? & have you still got the bum pad? ( got told by the missus I couldn't afford the shock you had for sale )

The early 851 fairings have no fixing for the top bolt on the V piece. That's not to say that something couldn't be moulded in there during a dark, winter eve. The threaded inserts (that you puch into the mount) are Tappex, and easily avaialable.

Cheers Rob. Yes, there are no provisions but I have seen a guy fit one to an early 851 and it really does tidy the front up (not to mention stopping all the crud being thrown onto the front cylinder !

Ive got plenty of bum pads so no bother there !

Cheers

Thanks Rob

I'm quite good at bodging so will have a go if it's still for sale.

I feel that the fairing looks more complete with the v piece fitted on the later bikes.

I've been buying the odd part with a view to fitting them over the winter, including a spare set of white wheels so I can powder coat the existing ones black. I still can't make my mind up which looks best, black or white!

Nat

Will have it if it's still for sale.

I wish I'd hung on for a bum pad from you as I had a heck of a saga buying one from belgium via ebay.

Will pm later.

When you're ready, PM me and I'll take some photo's of the new panels and the hole dimensions for the tapex, treaded inserts.

Nat - have you just the one 888 v piece?
Be v.interested if phil hasn't taken it or by luck you do have another.
Tyre scuffed mine badly at Donnington earlier this week!

Thanks
Stuart
