Not only Superbike: Aruba.it strengthens commitment with Ducati by becoming partner of the factory team in 2019 MotoGP
  • The company’s investments continue in the world of bike racing, representing Italian excellence in innovation and technical research on a global level

Aruba S.p.A. (www.aruba.it), global leader in data centre, cloud, web hosting, e-mail, PEC and domain registration services, is joining up with the Mission Winnow Ducati team as Official Partner in the 2019 MotoGP World Championship that heads to Jerez de la Frontera in Spain on May 5th for the fourth round of the season, the Spanish Grand Prix.

The logo Aruba.it, which is present on the racing leathers of factory riders Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci, will accompany the Italian squad in all 19 rounds of the MotoGP championship: the partnership reflects the values that inspire this leading Italian company in the development of its IT portfolio – innovation, speed, security and reliability – sharing with Ducati Corse a strong commitment in technical research that is reflected in the extremely high quality of its products and in its all-Italian passion.

As a result, it also confirms the increasingly solid partnership between Aruba and Ducati: on the one hand in MotoGP and on the other in the Superbike World Championship with the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team, a reality that has now arrived at its fifth successive season, and which this year is spearheaded by Chaz Davies, who joined the team at the very start, and Álvaro Bautista, who since the race weekend at Aragón has become the record-breaker of the moment, now with 11 wins out of 11. The Aragón Round was an extraordinary weekend for the Aruba.it team and for Ducati itself, which celebrated its 350th victory in the Superbike World Championship since its beginnings in 1988. In its debut year in fact, the V4 R is proving to be an extremely competitive bike, the result of experience accumulated on track and the developments that have been made possible thanks to the contribution of all the sponsors.

“We are very satisfied that our partnership with Aruba.it this year has been extended to the MotoGP championship. Our two companies share the same values of technology and innovation, and the presence of the Aruba.it logo on the leathers of Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci helps to seal in an important way the strong and consolidated ties between us that have lasted for five years with mutual satisfaction,” declared Luigi Dall’Igna, Ducati Corse General Manager.

Aruba is in a position to trace a positive outline of the established collaboration with Ducati: a growing business relationship and the juxtaposition of the two brands in Italy and abroad, thanks to their strategic presence in the Superbike and MotoGP rounds, strengthens the visibility of the Aruba.it brand, in line with the strategic objectives of the company’s international expansion. “This perfect alchemy would not have been possible had there not been at the base a common vision, which stems from the continuous search for the best performance and the maximum attention to security,” commented Stefano Cecconi, CEO of Aruba and Team Principal of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team.

The visibility that a partnership in MotoGP brings is fundamental for the penetration of new markets, and helps to make ‘Made in Italy’ stronger in the technological sphere, which already in itself is a worldwide guarantee: an all-Italian company that shows no signs of slowing down and confirms the strength of a brand that for over twenty years has been capable of fast-tracking its own innovation.
