any hardcore MTB bods on here want to do some night riding.. I 'm looking to restart my MTB riding at night. Not endless miles, but a decent evening blat across varied terrain, on a regular weekly basis. Now that I've finished building up my new MTB bike with super fandango lights, the worlds my oyster, well allmost. Looking for any bods to make up a small group for some weekly/weekday evening rides around surrey offroad areas etc, routes to be decided. can meet in a set local or organise alternatives. Don't have a problem with night time rides in the dark, but for saftey reasons several bikers is allways prefered. any interest peeps. cheers robin [Edited on 23-10-2005 by Red SPS] |
Yeah, I am interested, but I guess we will have to meet in Shinjuku instead of Surrey for me to participate....LOL Seriously, I use handlebar light and helmet light to get the terrain ahead lit and keep my line of sight always in view. Interesting experience, night riding. Good luck in finding partners! |
used to do it all the time, much better fun as you start riding better as you are oblivious to the terrain in front so you don't tense up. Bit far south for me though and have not been on a bike in 4 years so going to the local shop may be hard work now! |
We go out one night a week right after work for a 13 mile ride. Great fun at night. Need to find a cheap helmet light though. |
Surrey where? I am often riding at Swinley forest..I guess is already berkshire! |
Hey I ride Swinley forest! Wanna hook up one evening? Rik |
