why won't it go??

last weekend my 583 was a bitch to start, after whipping the plugs out and cleaning and warming them she went and was fine all saturday.
sunday morn and it eventually fired, again fine all day.
today thought i'd check to see if it would go ........NO ****ING WAY.......so again i clean and warm the plugs NOPE try the iridium plugs from the 750 NOPE.
i have fresh fuel which is getting in as i noteed the plugs where wet at one point, 2 sets of ngk plugs both giving spark............
SO WHY WON'T IT FIRE:mad: :(

may have been the sight of the 750 replacement lump.

I can't help with the why but my M600 does this from time to time, it did it this morning and made me late for its MOT eventually firing after about 10 attempts.

I general find with mine after a fair bit of swearing and stomping around it eventually gets going. Every time it does happen it’s been stood for a while so I put it down to stale/lack of fuel and the need for fresh fuel to get to the cylinders.

If there’s a proper answer I’d like to know though, it’s a right pain in the arse.

Cheers,

Shandy

Buy a can of EZ-Start.

Have you tested the compression?
Is the spark in the right place?

pick ups and ignition units are notoriously fragile on them. Pull the plugs and see if both are giving strong sparks.

Or it could be that the idle mixture is still set pretty standard, and hence waaaay too lean, and the weather just got colder.
Set the idle mixture screws at 4 full turns out.
