Getting a bit concerned........

Planning on getting a set for Almeria - if they're that crap & no one's used them can anyone suggest a track alternative that comes in a 120/60 front for a inter std rider - maybe I should stick with std Diablos's??????

Any and I mean any advice gratefully received!!

Although not fitted to a Ducati, I have a customer with them on a R1 who seems pretty happy with them.
Doesn't do track on them though, just road.

btw, I run a 120/70 on my bike now without any problems. Might open up the choice a little??

I tried 012ss's in 120/70 & didn't like the feel, not enough weight over the front/felt too high if you know what I mean????

Chris, I went from a 60 profile BT010 to a 70 profile Diablo and actually found the steering to be a bit quicker and more planted.
The big difference was high speed direction changes felt easier.
Very likely down to the complete change in tyre, rather than just the profile, but a good indication that it's not all down to profile.
Maybe worth considering Diablo Corse or I think the Dunlops steer very quickly to?

I used rennesport street at catunya 2 years ago they just lasted 3 days on track
the grip levels were lower than soft and medium compounds and I have reverted to rennesport medium rear soft front. the grip levels were very high and when the back slid it was very progressive so even a numpty like me had time to save it

Dave - at last someone who's used then on the track!!!!

They sound good & I think you'vr got at 998R so theres no way my 748sps, especially with me riding it, is going to need more grip. I've never slid the rear but I'm glad it's progressive anyway - If I did, knowing me, I'd probably **** myself or maybe I'd hold the slid, countersteering through the corner leaving a huge black line as I exit - yeah right!
