Cadwell Sunday 7th May My Minitwin entry, road bike to race bike in 5 days without spending any dosh, just raiding the parts bin. The DD bike is still intact and I'm taking it with me just in case as I've done all of 40 mile on the 750SSie so its a bit of a unkown. |
looks great! Show those SV's a thing or 2! good luck. |
Is there a DP Minitwins class? Has it been on the dyno? [Edited on 5-5-2006 by twpd] |
Are you racing with DP then, skids? Might see you there. No racing myself but my two team mates are in the Thunderbike class both on GSXK750s. Good luck! Oh, and nice effort on the bike. It just proves that your parts bin is of extraordinary size. ;) |
Really nice work - good luck - report required ;) Tim |
racing with North Glos, bike hasn't been on the Dyno but going on the Moto one performance website info contained in their notebook section, I suspect the bike to be around 64/65bhp and well below the 72bhp class limit. Hoping to do a report for PRONTO about making last minute decisions and turning a road bike into a race bike over a bank holiday and 3 evenings, then track/race report and hopefully a overview about was it worth it. Will hopefully beat a few SVs but also looking at giving some of my old sparring partners from the SoT class a hard time [Edited on 5-5-2006 by skidlids] |
Yes, DP is next weekend. Go get 'em! Looking forward to your report. |
Good stuff. Good luck then Kev. I will be out in July on my 800ss and I'll probably do Pembrey with NG in September. I'm just figuring out how to turn the wick down from 80bhp to 72 atm!! |
