Toby Moody: Why Ducati isn't winning anymore Toby Moody's column on Autosport discusses the elephant in the room: http://plus.autosport.com/free/featu...nning-anymore/ |
Mmmmm a mighty interesting read. Chris:burn: |
You think so. IMHO the other one knocking about is better. Burges and Rossi have been brought up on beam frames, lots of adjustability, in line fours and japs that like making new stuff and adjustment to suit the rider is possible and encouraged. Doohan said about the NSR 500. Stop changing it and just let me ride the f******g thing. Ducati were always of the opinion with the GP bike that the rider should adjust to suit the bike. So Rossi and Bugress are fighting, tech they do not know, injury at the beginning of the season, Burgess out mid season, a bike with little adjustability, Honda finally since 2005 having a good season, Italian organisation and cynical swipes. No wonder its tough. Reckon they will crack it though. |
