Avon AV49/50 SP ProXtreme Rain vs Pukka Wets
 

Has anybody tried these tyres for trackdays in wet conditions?
I am told that they are road legal but really designed as a Club Racing Wet where rules require road legal tyres (similar situation to Pirelli SC1/2/3 for dry).
Tyre expert has told me that Michelin Race Wets are better however, at my measly level, will I need the Michelins or will the Avons provide the grip I need??
