The Bike was purchased by me after the 2007 Desmo Due Championship Series ahead of me racing it in 2008.

I have raced the bike in DD since 2008 and have completed half of the 2012 season on it.

The bike was purchased as a race bike direct from the series and does not come with V5.

I changed the engine ahead of the 2010 season with an engine raced in 2009. Sadly the engine did not hold out and packed up after the first few rounds, after which, I bowed out in order to fully prepare for my Championship campaign for 2012.

Ahead of this season the engine was completely rebuilt from the inside out, both bottom and top end (full list of work carried out available on request).

This year the engine has been sound, starting on the button first time as well as being competitive in all races entered……regularly in the top three podium positions with some wins achieved. As is often said…..in Desmo Due, it really is a case of rider over bike!

Due to a fast crash into the catty litter at Oulton Park, gravel jammed the belts (use belt covers!) causing top end valve damage requiring a top end rebuild.

At the next round at Cadwell Park sadly stones which had been left over from the Oulton Park gravel again jammed the belts causing similar valve damage.

The engine was rebuilt top end and fully set up again ready to race, so is ready to go.
