Well,

I purchased a set of Diablos today for the 748. Not the corsa version as i reckoned i would not need them.
I went out for a gentle run after fitting. Just to get them scrubbed in. I can report that i found them to be very good so far. I have yet to get the the extreme edge of the tyre but they do seem very stable. I will leave the last 1cm of the edge to the hot weather when it comes along for good.:devil:

I'm glad as I have just ordered a set for the 996 after considering the options. £160 delivered from Robson Racing (01789 450822) was the best I could get.

Yep, I've just got some for my RVF from Mike Davis, (club member) at Robsom Racing. I've not used them before, but Mike's unbiased and very knowledgable advice pointed me in their direction, but I really like them...lots of confidence with them, although, not used in ernest as menioned above....I'll leave the last INCH on either side until it warms up:lol:
