Which 749 single seat unit??

I have a 749BP and am in the market for a rear single seat unit, I realise i have a few options open to me but can't decide which is best/most cost effective. I need the wisdom of the masses on this one.
I can go the expensive route and buy a mono subframe and mono tail unit or go the GP style seat unit that bolts straight on to the bip subframe. I'm tempted by the GP tail unit and have seen a CF on ducati9.net for £325.00 + VAT. Has anyone else fitted one of these? Any pics to see what it looks like fitted? Any sources for GRP?

Thanks in advance for all advice.

Well I've just been through all those thinkings and have got the whole mono subframe enchilada deal coming from JHP. Hell it's expensive but I just think it looks the best and as someone said you won't lose that whole amount come resale time! And yes I know I sjould just have got an S in the first place but nearly 9k was scary - nearly 10k seemed mental. Guess I'm mental now...

Cheers for all the advice.
Chunda, what was the £ damage on the conversion - if you don't mind me asking?

Just bought a casoli single seat unit of fleabay for a third of the retail cost !! Took fifteen minutes tops to fit and looks fantastic (in my opinion ). It also means if my twelve year old son wants to come with me its no great hassle to swap it back !! Drop me a u2u if you want some pics !!

Perhaps the most cost effective way to do it is:

(1) To Purchase this (about GBP120 shipped)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-D...spagenameZWDVW

(2) Then paint it to the specs of your bike by purchasing the correct color-coded rattle-can paints here, complete with detailed prep and painting instructions (about GBP30 shipped):

http://www.color-rite.com/

(3) Purchase the Number Boards from here (about GBP15 shipped)

http://www.tricktape.com

(3) Then shave your Biposto subframe like this:

http://www.ducati.ms/forums/attachme...achmentid=1768

(4) Install new monoposto tail.

(5) Sell Biposto Tail.

Your total expense to convert to Monoposto should be less than GBP100 after you're all done.

-- That would probably be the most cost-effective way to do it, and still have it come-out like a champ... if you do it right, barely anyone will notice it's converted.
