Classic TT - Ducati 888 Hi Folks Classic TT practice starts in 2 days... and I've spent the last few months building a 888 for the Formula 1 class. I think I will be one of three 888s in that class. If you're interested in the build, regular posts on my blog: SpeedTherapy Updates on practice and the race as it happens too. Just two days before the old girl flies down Bray Hill! Can't wait! :D Ciao Paul |
What a loveley piece of kit. Anytime you want someone to race it for you I'm your man. Good luck. Neil |
Great write up - will add that one to my reading list and we'll spread the love on our Facebook and Twitter feed as well :D |
Nice one Paul, good luck with all of the races Will we see you back at a DD round this year or will we have to wait until 2014 |
Final Prep Hi Folks Thanks for the luck and good wishes. Just doing the final prep on her now for the race at 14h00 tomorrow. Follow it on: Classic TT Live Timing Ciao Paul |

Not suprised with running 3 bikes at the Manx and with one being the bike above and the required prep maybe a lottery win is in order GOOD LUCK for tomorrow |
Classic TT Finish! The Classic TT Formula 1 race was on Monday... we finished with a great result :D Check the blog for write-up and more pics: SpeedTherapy Chris Pickett from Aus was also on a 888 in the race as a Newcomer - he finished 23rd. Mick Godfrey on the 888 Corsa (fast rider on a fast bike) got a DNF. Chris' son Alex was in the Newcomers A on a standard 848 today and did well to finish 8th after having to make a pit-stop on every lap (not enough fuel capacity to do 2 laps...). 3 out of 4 finishes... Ducati's record on the isle of Man has just improved! :) |
