Forks alordy

Can some one confirm for me that the ST forks work ok on the ss .. i bought them for the monster but since i'm sticking with the ss now and my current ones are pitted to buggery from riding through gravel traps, i thought i'd use them.

They will be going off to maxton to get fettled first so no worries about springs .. just wanted to make sure there's nothing i've not considered.

Yes, they are the same diameter so will fit. They're just a bit longer so you'll need to put them through the yokes a bit to take this into account and setup your ride height properly.

All ST and Monster forks are shorter than the SS versions as the SS bikes have the bars clamped to the top of the fork above the top yoke

I've just changed from SS to ST in my bike. I used the ST internals with my SS springs, just with the preload spacers 40mm shorter in total.
Everything seems to have set up fine but I wont know for sure until Brands....

Cheers guys

Yes my ss forks where 45mm above the yoke.

40mm is standard i think plus i dropped them 5mm to sharpen it up.

The ST forks seem perfect .. it's as if ducati knew.
