Swing arm cover vs hugger/chain guard!!!

I have picked up a carbon swinging arm cover, the full lenght job.
When fitting, a small problem has arrisen.
When cover is fitted, you can't refit the hugger/chain guard, due to the rear mounting bracket of chain guard /hugger no longer lines up or fit the mounting point, on the swing arm just in front of sprocket.
both items are genuine duc parts, what goes on here guys.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

The full swinging arm cover is a "race" part and is not meant to be used in conjunction with a hugger. It is usually paired with just a "race" chain guard. You'll have to "make do", I am afraid. It can be done, as I did it as well, for about 2 days. Didn't really work that well.

Ditch the hugger......

......fit the full swing arm cover and get a shock guard.

It'll look a lot better that way too, it really cleans up the back end.
