I peer cautiously over the parapet

Bought a 750SS new in autumn 1997. Ran it until last year, when I gave it to Number One Child, whose Kawasaki GT550 had blown up.

Unbelievably, it's still the most reliable bike I've ever owned. One duff spark plug managed to bring it to a halt in, er, 1999.

Felt the itch so bought a gorgeous 800SS the other day. Now trying to work out how to make the riding position as comfortable as the 750's.

That's it. Personal details may dribble out as and when. Er, I know Ant, if that's a recommendation.

I'm more astounded that you paid the membership fee without any arm twisting...

Hello and Welcome!

Great choice of bike the 800ss, not sure about comfort options, maybe riser bars of some flava, Cyclecat, variobar or perhaps something DIY.

Good luck - Frank
