Anyone know the recommended pressures for road use? Thanks in advance.

I suppose it depends on the bike, but when I had them on the ST I ran 32F 36R on the road, dropping down to 30F 32R on trackdays

32Fr 36R Sounds about right to me for road use

The pressures quoted sound on the low side.

36 fr 42 r are recommended by dunlop.

That good old tyre recommendation agreed to by the tyre manufacturers of 42psi.

Dunlop recommend the same for my R6 as my Ducati 916 and the majority of other sports bikes and they don'y have a recommendation at all for my ZXR400. I think I'll continue to ignore their PC recomendations in favour of the ones I have found through experience.

Jools, should be 32f 30r for td's

Hmmm...Lower pressures = slower warm up (and 207RR's seem to need quite a long warm up at the best of times)

And the last TD I did on 207RR's I did 3 laps of Rockingham and lost the front on the first tight right hander before you go up the little hill.

Seems to bear out the cold tyre theory, then again I could just be crap

In fact, I do believe that my current avatar is at Rockingham hairpin from later that day (good job you can't see the right hand side of the bike)

.. unless anyone else knows differently I'll go with 32F 36R for road and drop them a couple of lbs for track. They do take their time to heat up don't they Jools - feels like I've got a puncture for the first few miles. One thing - I thought dropping the pressure ensured quicker warm up due to the increase friction of the tyre being moved around more .. no doubt someone will enlighten me :)

I run 32 front with 34 rear on the 996R 32/36 on the MV if that's of any interest, I find the bikes have very different characteristics, the MV turning in much easier and quicker.

Want to get my head around the track pressures as we hear so much varied advice. Found the 207RR's to be much more predictable and forgiving than the poxy Michelins on both bikes.

Running Avon Azarros on the ST2 at the moment and they've been first class!!.
