Changing Coolant Hi, Going to be changing my coolant soon on the 996 and i was wondering if apart from what it says in the Haynes manual, is there anything else i need to know/do? Cheers Simon |
Check the state of your hoses as they'll be 15+ years now if they're originals and may be starting to degrade, and harden then crack. When refilling I always find that squashing the hoses in and out of the radiator helps to squeeze out the air bubbles and get the coolant moving around a bit before running up! |

Ok thanks for the tip. I'll check the hoses out too, as it seems sensible to change them whist i'm doing the coolant. Do you sell them by any chance? |
