Join Ducati UK and WSB riders Checa and Badovini at an exclusive track day

Join Ducati UK and World Superbike riders, Carlos Checa and Ayrton Badovini at an exclusive track day

Ducati UK, in association with Focused Events, have organised the ultimate track day for Ducatisti at the World famous Donington Park Circuit.

The Leicestershire Circuit, scene of Ducati’s first ever World Superbike win, will play host to the thunderous sound of Ducatis in their natural playground. The track day will take place on Tuesday 28 May and will be held on the full Donington GP Circuit.

The exclusive Ducati only track day will welcome Team Ducati Alstare riders Carlos Checa and Ayrton Badovini and Ducati Corse’s Ernesto Marinelli. Participants at the track day will have the chance to talk to the WSB riders and Ernesto Marinelli, gaining real insight from those at the heart of the Ducati Panigale World Superbike programme.

The track day will be a ‘noisy’ (105db) day and feature a special Focused Event ‘Chrono day’ where riders are monitored and then allocated into the correct groups according to their times. This is particularly important to build up the confidence of newer riders and allows more experienced riders to develop their skills in a more appropriate group. In addition, former Ducati World Superbike Champion Neil Hodgson and ex-BSB Champion and GP Star Niall Mackenzie will be on hand to give advice and, for a small fee, one-to-one tuition.

There will be a number of Ducati dealers attending, bringing technical support as well as members of the Ducati UK team hosting the day.

The day will cost £175 per person and will include a light buffet breakfast and lunch.

For further information on the ‘Chrono Day’ and other Focused Events please visit www.focusedevents.co.uk

Bookings and garage enquiries can be made by contacting Focused Events directly via their website, by email info@focusedevents.com or by calling 0845 0267272.

The track day will closely follow the World Superbike round at Donington where Ducati hospitality will be available. For further information on this and other Ducati events please visit www.ducatiuk.com

Ducati are laying on a full day with much additional content, with the Ducati Corse WSBK Team present, interview sessions, meet the riders etc and have provided in the cost of the Track day a breakfast, lunch and drinks at the Ducati Caffé for all track day riders

We realise that many of you will be bringing along partners, friends, or family with you on the day, or visiting to soak up the atmosphere and catch up with friends. So we don’t want to exclude anyone from the food etc so have negotiated a special rate. If you wish to join your friends for Breakfast and lunch and access to the Ducati Caffé, this will cost you just £20 per person for the day

You will need to book in advance by emailing reception@ducatiuk.com with your name, name of guest/s and credit card details (or if you prefer a phone number so we can call you back to take the details). You will receive an email confirming the booking and name/s of your guests which you should print out and bring with you on the day. On arrival your guests will need to sign on for their wrist band that will allow them entrance to the Ducati Caffe. Bookings must be made by MONDAY 20 MAY. Sorry, but there will be no facility on site to book additional guests as the catering has to be pre-ordered.

Pit Lane café will be open if you want an alternative, but we didn’t want anyone to miss out

£175 + £20 for other half to get in, Checca had already gone back to Spain (don't blame him), as I was in group 3 it was gone 10:30 before I got out on track for the first time to spend the next 3 laps doing what felt like 30 mph behind a marshall. Didn't learn much due to weather except Donny is very slippy in the wet, still raining mid afternoon so packed up and went home :(

Good to catch up with a few fellow past and present DDers, showed Tom his latest fall at Anglesey and bike still in one piece :)

Awsome with full wets:D Plenty of red flags which appeared to be mostly jap stuff so not sure why they were on the Ducati only day:confused:

+1 on that. With wets no problems, seemed plenty of grip. Was hitting top of 5th on the straights when on SC2s I was shatting myself in 3rd
