Bridgestone BT-014 Hi, If anyone here is running Bridgestone BT-014s on there 996? If so what sort of pressures are you running on? im 34 front and 36 rear at the moment for the road. Only got em for commuting on as I didnt fancy running rennsports for this winter. Just so I get a general base settings of ideas. Cheers, DC. |
I use 'em on an M620ie, running 33R and 31F on the road and 28-30(both ends) on trackdays if that's any help. |
Got 'em on my 996 too! 34f 36r when its colder, 32f 34r when it was scorching in the summer (which it wasn't much!). |
Cheers guys, khu996, as I have just put them on for winter riding, I wanted to get some figures and have been playing around with pressures. At first they felt real weird after coming off of a set of Rennsports. Noticed that the front seems wider than the Rennsport. Both fronts are 120/70 but I have gone from a 190/55 to a 180/55. Bike seems to be moving around a lot more in corners. Sort of weaving now!! Seems Im gonna have to go back and set up the chassis again. DC. |
Not sure about the 'moving around' feeling, mine always feel rock solid, but then I havent tried Rennsports! I think you might have lost a bit of ride height at the rear because the 190/55 was taller than your new 180/55, but I'm not sure how that would affect the weaving feeling! Let us know how you get on. |
