SS tyres for TA4
 

Just incase it gets lost in the other thread I'll re-post.

I've been quoted £199 & £205 locally (Stoke) for a set of Diablo Corsas fitted to loose wheels.

How does this compare?

Might be worth seeing what tyre support is at TA4, seems a bit on the high side to me for a loose wheels fit, I only paid £195 for a ride in ride out price last time around

Thanks Jools. That sounds like a good idea, I've got D207's on at the moment and although they aren't too worn they are about 2 years old and 3000 miles and the profile is going a bit - more so on the back. Still ok on the road but don't think I'd like to trust them at Cadwell.

Have we got any tyre support for Cadwell?

Steve, try TST (Tony Salt Tyres) in Warrington 01925 766987, he used to be Barry Sheene's Michelin technician, see what he says, I'll warn you now though he'll try and flog you some Michelins :D

So that's where Salty is these days. I know him from SMD when he was with Paul Fairclough in Liegh, they used to service the race meets.

£190 from TST, didn't speak to Tony though as he was out.
And yes they did try to sell me some Mich's - no thanks.
