998/999 Crank cases
 

Hi all,

Can someone tell me if the 998/999 crank cases & internals are the same, The crank case am looking at is from a 999 but has 998 in the engine number.

Hi Aide.
998 and 999bp crankcases are the same.
Its the side plates on the cylinder head that are different for the cooling system connections.
Bottom ends are the same.
