Rear indicator not working

Ironically I have just returned from an MOT and now my rear right indicator doesn't work. (Dash indicator light flashes fast). It worked when I went in and he passed it ok!
The strange thing is it lights when the alarm arms so I know it's not the bulb or the wiring to it.
Does anyone know where the flasher unit is on a 996 or is it controlled from the ECU?

Thank you.

Its down next to the battery. The big relay behind the cables next to the small yellow one. :D

Won't be the flasher as the other side works. Alarm will put its own power to indicator circuit, so it'll probably be a loose connector. Usual suspects are the ones under the ECU/seat catch area.

Thanks Nelly.

It was indeed just a bad connection in one of the bullet connectors under the seat. All ok now.
