Ducati Season Opening event takes place on 23 April at all UK and Irish Dealers

• Ducati dealers throughout the UK and Ireland present the new 2016 range on 23 April

Ducati dealers throughout the UK and Ireland will be opening their doors to officially launch the 2016 Ducati model range.

2016 has seen an unprecedented nine new models launched and the opening event is the ideal opportunity to see and book test rides for the new models.

The most recent addition to this year’s new range will be the Multistrada Enduro which takes the refined sports- design of the Multistrada into the rugged world of off-road. Already the bike has had many plaudits for its versatility both on and off road. While the Multistrada Enduro may break ground for Ducati, the XDiavel breaks new ground for the cruiser segment with its impressive handling, stunning performance coupled with state of the art electronics. It is a bike with a split personality that produces sports bike performance but is equally at home cruising the highways.

The Hypermotard 939, also available in the Hypermotard 939 SP and Hyperstrada 939 versions brings to the fore the range with a host of updates. The most noticeable of these is the EURO 4 certified 937 cm3 Ducati Testastretta 11° twin-cylinder engine. This engine boosts torque by 10% and increases horsepower to 113hp.

Two families that see additions for 2016 are the Monster and the Scrambler. The track ready Monster R joins the Monster 1200 and 1200 S while the Ducati Scrambler brand is expanded with the Flat Track Pro, the Italia Independent and the 400cc Scrambler Sixty2.

Visitors to the stores will also have an opportunity to take part in a free to enter competition to win a free Ducati track day and bike hire. There will also be individual promotions by the dealers and spot prizes of Ducati T-shirts on the day.
