Help! its doing something strange

Riding to work this morning something strange happened. As I was slowing down for a junction there was a popping sound (bit like a stone thrown up by the wheel bouncing off the faring or mudguard)...

The RS should be good on any electrics, just be careful as it is not a lubricant. Its not as bad as the DC4 which can wear out a new grease gun with one fill, but is good at keeping the water out.
