you're both right in that it is catching on the exhaust groove, though I don't believe I have changed from a 190 to a 180 though.

It is virtually impossible to get the bike in neutral as well with the engine running.

this may not be explained too well but...

One of the 5 nuts rotates (with the use of the socket so we are not talking loose) with the thread ie the nut does not come undone but neither can it be...
