I supported the engine,then lifted the frame off.Without the Ducati engine stand,the motor tended to jam when lowering.

Tha Abba stands are excellent,but an alternative is axle stands if youve a pair in the garage.Lift the bike with a paddock stand.Turn the tubes upside down and use a bolt/bar in the footrest hanger.

The Ricambi seat mould is taken from a race seat,so there isnt access to the underseat area (unless you cut a hole out),on the plus side,it helps to produce a stronger seat.
